# Safety First: What to Do if You Feel Harassed or Unsafe

Your safety is our top priority. If you encounter behavior that makes you feel uncomfortable, threatened, or unsafe, we encourage you to take immediate action using the tools provided on the platform.

#### 1. Protect Your Space

The fastest way to stop unwanted interaction is to use the Block feature.

* Block: This completely severs the connection. They will not be able to message you, view your profile, or see your content.

#### 2. Report the Behavior

Reporting alerts our Trust & Safety team so we can investigate and take action (such as warnings or permanent bans).

* To Report a User: Go to their profile, click the three dots (...), and select Report.
* To Report a Message: Long-press the specific message in your DMs and select Report.
* Be Specific: When prompted, choose the category that best describes the issue (e.g., Harassment, Threats, or Hate Speech) and provide details.

#### 3. Seek External Help

If you feel you are in immediate physical danger or are being threatened with violence:

* Contact Local Authorities: Reach out to your local police department or emergency services immediately.
* Crisis Resources: If you need emotional support, you can contact the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741741 (US/Canada) or 85258 (UK).

> Pro-Tip: If you are a creator, you can also manage your community safety by assigning Moderators or setting up Blocked Words in your account settings to automatically filter out toxic language.
