# Getting Started as a Creator

Ready to transition from viewer to creator? Follow these simple steps to set up your profile, secure your checkmark, and start earning.

#### Phase 1: The Application

1\. Submit Your Application

* Action: Navigate to the sidebar, click Settings, and select Become a Creator.
* Process: Click the "Let’s Get Started" button and follow the prompts to submit.
* Timeline: Our team will review your application within 5 business days. You will receive an email notification regarding the status of your application once the review is complete.

> \[IMPORTANT] Steps 2, 3, and 4 will be unlocked only after your application has been officially approved.

#### Phase 2: Post-Approval Setup

Once you receive your approval notification, complete these steps to launch your profile:

2\. Complete Your Payout Profile

* Action: Navigate to the Payouts tab.
* Process: Submit your required tax form and add your preferred payout method. This is required to receive earnings.

3\. Set Your Subscription Price

* Action: Head to your Profile Settings.
* Process: Define your Monthly Subscription Fee. This determines the cost for fans to access your exclusive content.

4\. Personalize Your Community

* Action: Access the Creator Dashboard.
* Process: Upload custom Subscriber Badges and Emotes to give your supporters a unique identity in your chat and comments.
